Angiography Catheter

During the angiography process, a tube called "Catheter" is used. This tube enters the body through the Groin Artery or Arm Artery. The reason for choosing these places is the presence of main arteries in the wrist and groin. After making a small incision in one of these areas, the doctor inserts the catheter into the body. The catheter enters this artery and is directed to the heart, Brain or any other part that is needed. By using this special channel, the doctor can inject a contrast material for imaging or even place a Stent and pass a Balloon.
